What a church streaming setup is made of
- One or more PTZ cameras placed at the back or side, aimed at the pulpit, the choir and the congregation. Each comes with its joystick controller.
- A way into the computer or online: a USB or HDMI capture card for one camera, a video switcher for two or more, or a streaming encoder if you don't want a computer in the loop.
- Sound from your mixer into the stream, so people at home hear the preacher and not the room.
- OBS, vMix or the switcher's own streaming to Facebook Live or YouTube. We set it up and show your team how.
How many cameras does a church need?
Most churches start with one camera on the pulpit. A second camera for the worship team or a wide shot makes the stream feel live instead of recorded. Big halls and churches with a stage band usually go to three.
Zoom depends on the distance from where the camera sits to the speaker: about 13 m for a 12× camera, 23 m for a 20× and 34 m for a 30× for a waist-up shot. Don't pay for zoom your hall doesn't need.

Can volunteers run it?
Yes. Each PTZ camera comes with a joystick and saved presets (pulpit, choir, wide), so one volunteer can switch shots with a button. We train your team on the day we install.
Can we stream to Facebook and YouTube at the same time?
Yes, with OBS plus a restream service or a switcher/encoder that streams to two places. We set up whichever fits your team.
